Melvin and the Others

was formed out of anger, distrust, and shame.

What once was a fun distraction, a way to decompress at the end of a long day. Quickly morphed into something I did not recognize. I was turning into someone that I did not like. No happiness, no smiles, no stolen minutes in the morning under the covers.                     

I went from a fun-loving, outgoing person to a troll.

The hatred I felt for the person/people hiding in the shadows still playing their game. This anger was unlike anything I had felt or had to deal with before or since. When you challenge yourself to prove UFOs are fake. You are always looking for the secret to prove the magic is fake…

A trick for the weak mind, a way for people to get attention.

When you start making these stories up, you always go too far. Of course, you always have to one-up the neighbor. If they got taken, you had to be taken AND forgot everything, and so on. Every move we see the people in power make seems to be aimed at waiting for the American public to just…. Forget. And we will. We do every time. We start thinking of it as “fake news” Just people making those damn stories up again. Oh! Look! They brought dolls this time! How fun! The American mind is weak; we have let them do that to us. We made the CHOICE to not stand up to the Government when Edward Snowden warned us. Snowdon thought of giving up his freedom, his girlfriend, his parents, and his WHOLE LIFE to attempt to get us to listen.

I wonder if he would do it again knowing what he knows now. telling us they were wasting everything we do, everything we say, text, e-mail, tweet, post, write, and it goes on. Able to listen to ANY PERSONS PHONE or computer. ANGER! Yet, it’s hard to think of a description that is better suited to depict the average Americans temperament these days than ignorant and entitled. We started in a good place. We valued something. Family, friends, and Church, we took the time to make someones day better by doing those little things. The little things that show we CAN CARE! WE CAN LOVE!

Do we? Do we love each other? Do we even know what that means anymore?

I know I am not the only person feeling that anger. That pure hatred for the people that took my Uncle and Cousin. I would march into what ever hell they have prepared to bring them to justice, well maybe not justice, but they would have a day in court anyways.
